Horse With No Name is a bourbon with a strong character, and the website tells its story in an equally unconventional way.
(01) Challenge
A Texas bourbon infused with Black Forest habanero needs a world as quirky as the product. So the website had to work like a western town you enjoy getting lost in.
(02) Solution
We built the website as a small western town of its own. Sheriff’s Office, Stable, Saloon, Post Office and Underwater Casino are separate areas with bottles, cocktail recipes, stories and a gallery, and an animated western film plays in the page header.
(03) Highlights
The entire site is designed in the style of an old Wild West handbill and behaves like one too, with paper, print and typography straight out of another era. Elaborate animations bring the western town to life, and a fortune telling machine of its own reveals visitors’ fate. Recipes and stories can be rated with stars, so the community’s favourites quickly rise to the top.
